Dear Friends, Family and Fremonsters -
Greetings from our little home in the Berkshires! We were planning to be on our way to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to perform The Failure Cabaret this week, but instead we're here at home doing our best not to get on each other's nerves.
Moose is very bored with us and is looking more like a therapist each and every day. Don't you just want to tell this dog your problems?
We realized recently that we haven't written anything to you all for a very long time, so here is a quick update about what we've been up to.
Last November, we performed sold-out runs of The Failure Cabaret at eTown in Boulder CO and The Foundry in West Stockbridge MA. Then we spent most of the winter lining up our venue and travel plans for Edinburgh. We booked a fab venue and luckily they're holding a slot for us in 2021. Fingers crossed that the world is back to some kind of normal by then.
Creatively, things have been pretty slow. We've written a small handful of new songs, which are mostly too depressing for anyone to listen to right now without drinking heavily. We played a few virtual open mics, including this one filmed at The Egremont Barn. Justin started working with a new voice over agent and is auditioning for cartoons nightly from our closet studio.
We're trying not to break our brains as we learn how to live-stream and figure out if Tik Tok is relevant to our lives in any way. We live-streamed a few songs on Facebook for the first time last night and are planning to do that again soon. Keep an eye on our FB page if you'd like to join us.
Finally, we are playing a real live show in front of real live people!!! We'll be on the socially distanced, outdoor stage at The Foundry on Saturday, August 1st at 7pm ET. More info on the show below.
